Symptoms

SBL-DAT-00312

In the vanilla install of Siebel 7.7.2 when you navigate to the Accounts Screen Homepage and click on the My Accounts link, an error is returned stating "An error setting the named query has occurred. Please execute another query or ask your systems administrator to check your application configuration if the problem persists.(SBL-DAT-00312)"

We have made no configuration changes to the application in this area. I have attached a screen shot with the error we are seeing as well.

Solution

Message 1

For the benefit of other users:

Issue:
My Accounts Drilldown causes Error from Account Screen Homepage

Resolution:

We were able to reproduce the error "An error setting the named query has occurred. Please execute another query or ask your systems administrator to check your application configuration if the problem persists.(SBL-DAT-00312)"

This is a product defect and hence we have raised a change request #12-PX2P4H.

Workaround:

1. Log into e-communications application as SADMIN.
2. From the Administration-Application screen, choose "View Links".
3. The Screen Homepages list appears.
4. In the Screen Homepages list, select "Account" Homepage.
5. Under View Links, "My Accounts" has default query "* All Accounts/Companies"
6. Delete it.

Thank you,
Siebel Technical Support
