Symptoms

SBL-DAT-00239

Hi, we are currently upgrading from 6.0.1 Mid-Market to 7.5.3 Mid-Market.   Completed DB schema upgrade and repository migration. We're currently testing the UI from the front end, checking for various views.

There is a problem with all custom service request views. When we try to navigate to these views, the following error comes up:

Duplicate position (1) for user-defined menu item 'Check Spelling'. User-defined method menu items must have a unique position which identifies their placement in the menu.(SBL-DAT-00239).

I have looked in Supportweb for any references to this, but didn't find any. I would appreciate your quick help on this because we're essentially stuck at this point.

Thanks,

Solution

Sudheer,
Thank you for using SupportWeb. I have taken ownership of this service

request you submitted to Siebel Technical Support.
This error will show up because it seems some of your applets on custom service request views have duplicate position.

Go to the applet in tools and select Applet Method Menu item and then

look for Check Spelling.
Now see if any position is repeated.
If so, change it to something else or delete the duplicate Check Spelling.
Compile the applet now.

Please let me know if this solves the issue.

Thank you.
