SBL-DAT-00356: %1 doesn't support assignment from '%2'

Applies to:

Siebel eCommunications Pricer - Version: 8.0.0.2 [20412] and later   [Release: V8 and later ]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Below expression is to be expected to result in a date DaysOffset later.

{Row.Date End} = ToDate({Row.Date Start}) + ToNumber({Row.DaysOffset})

CSSNumber doesn't support assignment from 'CSSDate'(SBL-DAT-00356).

This error message could only be seen on a thin client not on a dedicated developer client.

This error also did not show up always for the same workflow version. In some cases a server restart caused the behavior not to appear any more. In other environments it was exactly the other way round. So this behavior is some kind of intermittent.

Cause

This behavior has been logged in Change Request CR 12-1P9YKJD

Solution

In the actual case the following fixes have been applied:

For version 8.0.0.2 Quickfix 8.0.0.2 [20412]QF0274 BugID: SBA: 7428756 is available

QF0274 fixes the date issue

QF0236 for a regression on eConfigurator introduced by QF0274 and

QF0279 for another regression on CTI Toolbar introduced by QF0274
