Symptoms

SBL-DAT-00608

Hi,

We are using Multi-Org LOV's throughout our application work using the 'Owner Organization Specifier' property on table level (see SR 38-1384437406). It works for all Business components but one, 'CG Retail Product'. The 'Owner Organization Specifier' on its table (S_ORG_PROD) is set to '[OU_ID][BU_ID]' (vanilla) but the picklists do not work multi-orged. They will only display the values that have no Organization set against them. We have done an SQL trace (see attachment) and it appears that the Organization Id is ignored.

It is critical that this get solved ASAP as we need this functionality in production.

Thanks in advance and kind regards,

Solution

For the benfit of other readers:

The business requirement was to use organization enabled lov (OLOV). This is standard functionality since Siebel application version 7.7.

The organization enabled lov is not correct working on 'CG Retail Product' buscomp. The picklists on this buscomp will not show the correct lov values when creating new records. Only after refreshing the applet the organization specific lov can be selected.

Change request 12-P7UWFF has been logged: Org enabled LOV is not working on 'CG Retail Product' BC.

There is actually no workaround known.

Thank you
