SBL-DAT-00590

There is an errormessage: SBL-DAT-00590: An error occurred while attempting to look up the LOV value of 'Failed - Engine' of type 'LOY_MEM_TIER_PROCESSING_STATUS_CD'.
This LOV type doesn't seem to appear anywhere else in the application configuration, so why is i doing a query for it ?

For the benefit of the readers,

Symptoms:
    The Tier Batch engine log file contains the error SBL-DAT-00590 for LOV value of 'Failed - Engine' of type 'LOY_MEM_TIER_PROCESSING_STATUS_CD'.
    
Troubleshooting:
    The log files shows that this occurs when the engine tries to update the processing comments for the Tier transaction to Failed - Engine.
    The LOV does not exist in the application but one exist with "LOY_MEM_TIER_PROCESSING_STATUS"
    It is not possible to create a LOV with display value "LOY_MEM_TIER_PROCESSING_STATUS_CD" as the maximum column length is 30 characters.

Resolution:
    Product Defect Change Request 12-17EKWJQ: "SBL-DAT-00590 for LOV value of 'Failed - Engine' of type 'LOY_MEM_TIER_PROCESSING_STATUS_CD'" has been opened.
    Fix Request 12-17HR62L has been entered with target 7.7.2.x Fix Pack

Hello,

While starting the Siebel Server service, the following error occured for Smart Answers:

ObjMgrLog    Error    1    00006f3345be26cc:0    2007-01-29 16:21:46    (oracon.cpp (3165)) SBL-DBC-00104: Erreur lors de la récupération de l'enregistrement suivant depuis la base de données.

ObjMgrSessionLog    Error    1    00006f3345be26cc:0    2007-01-29 16:21:46    (dmsessionlocale.cpp (863)) SBL-DAT-00590: Une erreur s'est produite lors de la tentative de consultation de la liste des valeurs dont la valeur est 'Holiday' et le type 'TODO_TYPE'.
Then the process terminate. With Siebel Tools, I have confirmed that the value do exist for French and English in the System LOV. Also, when browsing the Opportunities in the web application FINS, after creating a new opportunity and drilling down into it, the following error occurs when I hit the Tab Assessments.

With tools, I looked up this value as well, and it exists in the Database.

Additionnal Information:
Since French is the required primary language, installation including repository import was done with French as primary language.

Message 1

Customer has installed the Actuate Report Server in the same Siebel Server running the Smart Answer component. After that the Smart Answer component did not start anymore.

The Actuate Report Server installation reset the ICU_DATA Windows environment variable to Windows system folder. Originally Siebel installation set it to "<Siebel Server Root Directory>\nlp\icu_data".

If you want to run the Actuate Report Server in the same machine running the Smart Answer component you can set a new variable called "BANTER_ICU_DATA_1_8" setting it to "<Siebel Server Root Directory>\nlp\icu_data".

Change Request # 12-1I3WQI5 has been opened to address this behavior.
