Symptoms

We have upgraded out Development environment to 7.8.2.4 from 7.5.3.15. Now when F9 is selected the From address does not contain any values. It did when it was 7.5.3.15. What could be the problem?

Cause

Some data inconsistencies during the migration has impacted on this issue.

Solution

Message 1

In the OM log file I see the error message:

SBL-DAT-00458: Invalid search specification,

during the execution of the Search Spec 'Personal Profile Search' to query for the correspondent communication profile.

The cause of the above behavior was due to there is an apostrophe in the responsibility name for the affected user, example: FAMC Manager's Service Request Responsibility

A change request CR# 12-HOFDCO had been logged for product enhancement. Validation should be included to ensure that responsibility name does not include apostrophe as it will result in unexpected behavior.

I have attached to the SR this CR# 12-HOFDCO for your traceability.
