Symptoms

When opening the Street Address MVG on “Pharma Calendar Affiliated Professionals List Applet”, “LS Pharma HI Activity Calendar View”, eCalendar Screen, the following error message pops up:

“An error has occurred retrieving the multi valued group object for the field 'Street Address’. Please have your system administrator check your application configuration. (SBL-DAT-00247)”

Replicatoin Steps:
1. Login as SADMIN
2. Click on the Calendar tab. This takes you to the Daily Calendar View (LS Pharma HI Activity Calendar View)
3. In the applet on the right, use the toggle control to select 'Affilated Contacts'. The applet changes to the Affiliated Contacts applet (Pharma Calendar Affiliated Professionals List Applet)
4. Open the mvg control on the Street Address field on any record. The following error is given:

An error has occured retrieving the multi valued group object for the field 'Street Address'. Please have your system administrator check your application configuration. (SBL-DAT-00247)”

Cause

The “Street Address” field is a singlevalue field under “Account Contact Affiliation” business component. 

Solution

Workaround

Remove the MVG applet from the "Street Address" list column on “Pharma Calendar Affiliated Professionals List Applet” applet.

Change Request 12-1L11KE6 – ‘Error when opening Address Mvg on Affilated Contacts, Calendar view’ has been logged to address this product defect.

Hi,
     We encountering an error doing the following steps

In Correspondence List View i am created one Correspondence record. For the newly created Correspondence record, i have associated Recipients in the Correspondence Recipient Applet.Encountering an error "An error has occurred retrieving the multi valued group object for field 'Contact Id' .
Please have your systems administrator check your application configuration.(SBL-DAT-00247)"
when i clicked on "Done Button" in the Correspondence list applet.

For the benefit of other users:

The error was due to customization on business component (BC) 'Action'. The customer had changed the relationship Contact to Action to be 1:1, and therefore field 'Contact Id' was a single value field (SVF) in BC 'Action'.

When field 'Contact Id' is changed back to a multi value field (MVF), Correspondence is working fine.

The issue here is the specialized code behind the Done button. It simply expects a MVF and therefore runs into this error. The following options exist to implement the customer's request:

1. Leave the MVF 'Contact Id' as it is and add an additional SVF for the required 1:1 relationship.
2. Create a custom Done button with the appropriate code behind it.
